All papers presented at ICETOL 2026 follow a two-stage publication structure:
Stage 1 – Abstract Publication (Automatic)
Stage 2 – Optional Full-Text Publication (Separate Application Required)
After the conference, authors who wish to publish full papers based on their conference presentations must apply separately to one of the publication options listed below.

Book Title: Human-AI Interaction in Education and its Impacts on Learner Cognition Free of Charge
The primary objective of this book is to provide a comprehensive and theory-informed examination of how human-AI interaction influences learner cognition in formal, informal, and hybrid learning environments. The volume seeks to move beyond instrumental views of AI by analyzing how different forms of interaction with intelligent systems affect cognitive processes such as understanding, problem-solving, self-regulation, creativity, and critical thinking. Specifically, the book aims to bridge cognitive science, learning sciences, and educational technology research; offer empirically grounded insights into both opportunities and risks associated with AI-mediated cognition; propose conceptual frameworks that explain when, how, and for whom AI supports or constrains learning; and inform the design of cognitively responsible, human-centered AI systems in education.
Authors wishing to publish a chapter in this book must submit an extended version of their conference presentation to the Edited Book by following the relevant submission guidelines given in the Call for Chapters. The book project is currently in progress and is not limited to ICETOL 2026 submissions. All submitted chapters will undergo an editorial screening and peer-review process, and acceptance is not guaranteed.

Book Title: Learning Analytics and Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education: Integrated Perspectives and Practices Free of Charge
This forthcoming edited volume aims to explore the emerging intersections between learning analytics and generative artificial intelligence in educational contexts. The book will bring together theoretical perspectives, methodological approaches, and practical implementations that demonstrate how data-driven insights and generative AI technologies can transform teaching, learning, and institutional decision-making.
Authors wishing to publish a book chapter in this Edited Book must submit a chapter proposal of 2,500–3,000 words based on an extended version of their conference presentation. Chapter proposals should be submitted directly to the editors via email (gurhan.durak07@gmail.com, serkancankaya79@gmail.com, semiral@gmail.com) for preliminary review, and further instructions will be provided to authors whose proposals are accepted. Please note that chapter submissions will undergo an editorial screening followed by an independent peer-review process. Submission does not guarantee publication; only chapters that successfully complete these evaluation stages will be considered for inclusion. This book project is currently in progress and is open to contributions beyond ICETOL 2026 submissions. The volume has been submitted to Springer for consideration and is planned to be published in 2027, subject to approval by Springer. Final publication of the book will depend on the successful completion of the proposal evaluation, editorial processes, and formal acceptance by Springer.
