ICETOL 2027 takes place at the Faculty of Education Sciences, University of Malaga, on the Teatinos Campus.

The Venue

Sessions are held at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the University of Malaga (UMA) on the Teatinos Campus, which is linked to the city centre by metro and city buses. Hall numbers and a campus map will be published together with the conference programme.

Getting There

Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is only 8 km from the city centre, and both the centre and the campus are easy to reach by public transport.

From the Airport to the City Centre

Train (Cercanías C1)The fastest and cheapest way into town. From the airport station at Terminal T3, the C1 reaches Málaga Centro-Alameda in about 12 minutes. Trains usually run every 20 minutes.
Express Bus (Line A)Leaves from right outside the arrivals terminal for the city centre (Paseo del Parque or Plaza General Torrijos). About 20–25 minutes depending on traffic; tickets are sold by the driver, cash or card.
Taxi and Ride-HailingOfficial taxis wait outside the terminal around the clock, and Uber and Cabify also operate. About 15–20 minutes to the centre, and the most comfortable choice with heavy luggage or in a group.

From the City Centre to the University

Metro Line 1 (Red)From Atarazanas or El Perchel to the Universidad stop in about 15–20 minutes. Modern, clean and air-conditioned.
City Buses (EMT)Lines 8 and 11 run from the Alameda Principal stop straight to the campus.

From the Airport Straight to the Campus

Take the C1 train to María Zambrano station and change there to Metro Line 1 (El Perchel metro station is connected to the railway station), then ride to the Universidad stop.

Local transport is fully integrated with Google Maps and Moovit: check your route live before you travel.
